Beyond the Embrace

 This artwork captures contemporary expressions of paternal love, illustrating the changing roles of fathers who increasingly take on nurturing responsibilities in modern homes.

Despite this shift, many communities still resist such roles. Drawing inspiration from the groundbreaking works of Mary Cassatt and Uemura Shoen, who challenged societal norms with their depictions of mother and child, I embarked on portraying the essence of care and tenderness within the father-daughter relationship. Through an intimate embrace and intricate patterns, the artwork unveils a domestic scene imbued with profound affection.
