Shop Till I Drop” explores the obsession with beauty and consumption in modern life. Using bold colors and pop-art repetition, the work plays with familiar advertising imagery—lipstick, sneakers, and glossy slogans like “I buy for my beauty.” The repeated panels echo the endless cycle of buying, wanting, and comparing that defines consumer culture.

I wanted this series to feel loud and almost overwhelming—like walking through a mall where everything is competing for attention. Beneath the bright palette and playful forms, there’s a tension between empowerment and pressure, between choice and conformity.

At its core, Shop Till I Drop asks what we’re really buying when we chase beauty—and whether it’s ever truly ours.
